'Idol School’ is a variety program with the format of a girl group education institution, and the top students will graduate and debut as a girl group. The first episode is scheduled to air on July 13, 2017 at 9:30 p.m. KST.
‘Idol School’ will take place at English Village in Paju. The location was most recently used for ‘Produce 101’. The students of the show will go through 11-week training and the top students will be debuting in a girl group after graduation.
Kim Heechul has been confirmed as the homeroom teacher of the show while actor Lee Soon Jae will be the principal. The head producer will be Black Eyed Pilseung, and other vocal and dance teachers will include Jang Jin Young, Park Joon Hee, and Stephanie.
